My name is Annie Angelopoulou. I have been implementing projects for years, and this is the project of my heart, thus the name I gave to my store.

My colourful jewelry is handcrafted with love in Ireland. I learned bead stitching from the masters in beading and attended webinars by Jean Power, Mikki Ferrugiaro, Contemporary Geometric Beadwork (an open-source architectural beadwork project by Kate McKinnon and a worldwide team of innovators), and several French artists. Not to mention the countless hours of trial and error! Though the technicalities are pretty straightforward, nothing else is. The choice of bead color, finish, and hue; the choice of thread and needle; the design, the shape, the size, and the artist’s vision of the finished artwork. Everything is interconnected and dependent on the final shape of the piece.

Beadwork needs tons of patience and love for the actual process. My inspiration comes from nature, my Greek and Hungarian heritage, and Ireland, the emerald isle that stole my heart. Although I am a city girl, I have always been impressed by the colors in nature. The Japanese glass beads offer the most saturated colors and delightful hues appropriate for both bold and elegant jewelry. Each piece is meticulously designed and crafted by me, choosing those colors and shades that will bring an artistic balance and the wow factor to its owner. My greatest reward is knowing that the piece I created brought a big smile to your face! Jewelry speaks about our personality and the way we embrace life.
